Cycling for Seniors Along Latvia's Beautiful Baltic Coast
We're plpbrevard Solutions Ltd, dedicated to making coastal cycling accessible, safe, and enjoyable for older adults. From flat seaside paths to guided group adventures, we've built a community around the joy of riding.
How We Started
plpbrevard Solutions Ltd began because we saw a gap. Seniors wanted to explore Latvia's stunning Baltic routes but couldn't find reliable information, proper equipment, or welcoming communities. We're changing that.
We mapped the Riga-Jūrmala bike path and tested every section. That first summer, we led three guided rides with just twelve people total.
Expanded to include Vidzeme seaside routes. We'd learned what seniors actually needed—rest stops, water access, gentle grades. Not marketing speak.
Partnered with e-bike rental operators. Now we're helping riders who want assistance without feeling like they're "cheating." It's about freedom.
Over 400 seniors have ridden with us. We've documented routes, trained guides, and built something that actually works. This is just the beginning.
Our Core Approach
We don't believe in one-size-fits-all cycling. That's why we've built multiple ways to experience the Baltic coast. Choose what fits your pace, fitness level, and goals.
Educational Materials
We've created detailed route guides for flat paths from Riga to Jūrmala. Elevation maps, rest stop locations, water fountains, and actual rider feedback. Not generic cycling websites.
E-Bike Rentals
E-bikes aren't cheating. They're liberation. We've vetted rental partners who understand senior riders. Equipment that works, pricing that's fair, support when you need it.
Guided Group Rides
Weekly rides along Vidzeme's seaside routes. You're not alone—you're part of a community. We keep pace slow, stops frequent, and everyone gets home safe.
Maintenance Support
Basic bike care shouldn't be intimidating. We teach chain maintenance, brake adjustments, and tire pressure checks. Practical skills for confident riding.
Route Planning
Flat paths only. We've tested them ourselves. Distance options from 8km to 35km. You choose the distance, we handle the logistics and safety protocols.
Community Building
Friendships happen on these rides. We're not just moving people from point A to point B. We're creating connections that last beyond the cycling season.
Where We Ride
We focus on genuinely flat paths along the Baltic coast. No hills masquerading as "gentle slopes." Just beautiful, rideable terrain where every senior cyclist belongs.
-
Riga-Jūrmala Bike Path
23 kilometers of dedicated cycling infrastructure. Starts in downtown Riga, follows the Gauja River, ends at Latvia's premier beach resort. We run this route twice weekly. First-timers love it because the path is obvious—you can't get lost.
-
Vidzeme Seaside Loop
35 kilometers combining coastal views with forest sections. Slightly more challenging but absolutely doable for riders with moderate fitness. Limestone cliffs, sandy beaches, and pine-scented air make this one unforgettable.
-
Jūrmala Town Circuit
12 kilometers of leisurely pace-setting through the resort area. Perfect for those building confidence. Multiple cafés, shaded stops, and a genuine flat profile. This is where nervous cyclists become confident ones.
